There is nothing in the Mechanic series that prevents him from being an Black African or a Gay Muslim. We need more diverse heroes. We are living in a world where equal opportunity is not as far along as we hoped it would be. Color or race will not affect the Mechanic story, it will only make it better. We can relate to him in so many ways. It is time to give the minorities the chances they had never gotten in the past. We need to end the evils of blue-eyed "whiteness".
